AMBASSADOR DELENN (Played by Mira Furlan) represents the Minbari Federation.  Delenn is a member of the highest Minbari governmental body, the Grey Council.  She was appointed to this position to keep an eye on Jeffrey Sinclair.  She gave the deciding vote in whether to go to war with the humans, and she voted to go ahead.  At one point she was chosen to become the leader of the Minbari, but turned it down because she wanted to see through the prophecy of Valen.  Delenn dissolved the Grey Council and in 2261, formed a new one with the emphasis on the Worker cast.  In her early years on Babylon 5, she transformed herself into a Human-Minbari hybrid to further relations between the two races.  This led to widespread repercussions on Minbar, but turned out for the best.  She was later married to John Sheridan and had a son with him.  She is known as, ‘The One Who Is.’

AMBASSADOR G’KAR (Played by Andreas Katsulas) is a member of the Narn Regime, and he arrived on Babylon 5 hoping to make some new alliances.  G’Kar hates the Centauri, especially Londo Mollari.  G’Kar will waste no opportunity to turn a situation to the Narn’s advantage, even if it means antagonizing everyone else on the station.  He takes pride in his position and himself, a pride perhaps bordering on arrogance at times.  G’Kar would like nothing better than to see the Centauri, and Londo especially, pay dearly for their brutal occupation of Narn.  He is a member of the Kha’Ri, third circle, and is an avid follower of the teachings of G’Quan.  G’Kar was captured by the Centauri when he was out looking for Garibaldi, and tortured, resulting in the loss of his eye.  When freed, he went on an exploration of space with Lyta Alexander, but then died when he and Londo strangled each other to death in 2277.

LYTA ALEXANDER (Played by Patricia Tallman) is a high level, 6th generation telepath.  She started working with the Psi-Corps but then she found out what they did to people, so she promptly quit, and became resident on Babylon 5.  After her encounter with Kosh, she was taken back to Earth to the Psi-Corps, but escaped and travelled into Vorlon space.  She was considered a renegade of the Psi-Corps, but she later rejoined them in a deal with Bester where she didn’t have to work for them, but wore their badge.  She was a sort of freelance telepath.  While in Vorlon space she was modified by them, so she could carry an unconsciousness of a Vorlon in her brain, which was unknown to others.  They gave her gills so she could breathe in Vorlon atmosphere, heightened telepathic skills and also telekinetic skills.  She is now the leader of a group of renegade telepaths, who were left leaderless when their leader, Byron, was killed.  She later had to leave Babylon 5 permanently, and went travelling with G’Kar.

LONDO MOLLARI (Played by Peter Jurasik) was the Ambassador to Babylon 5 for the Centauri Republic.  He is the most human-like of the alien races aboard the station.  Londo sees his job as Ambassador as a bit of a sham, as he can’t see how he can help regain the lost glory of his people.  He was a war hero in his younger days, but he has since grown decadent and indulgent, and he can usually be found in one of the bars or casinos, drinking himself to oblivion.  Londo has a biting sense of humour, and his best friend on the station seems to be Garibaldi, as Garibaldi seems to understand some of what Londo is going through.  He seemed to be an ally of the Shadows through his acquaintance with Mr Morden.  With their aid, the Centauri beat the Narns and reclaimed some of their former glory.  Londo later became Prime Minister and then Emperor in 2262, before he and G’Kar strangle each other to death.

AMBASSADOR KOSH  (Animatronics) is the Vorlon Ambassador to Babylon 5.  As soon as he arrived on Babylon 5, a member of the Minbari Warrior Caste attempted to assassinate him and make it look like Commander Sinclair did it, but it failed.  Kosh is rarely seen and his reasons for going to Babylon 5 are unknown.  He wears an encounter suit to hide his true form, and his quarters are filled with methane gas and others.  Whether this is needed for him to survive, or is just to deter intruders is a good question.  He communicated through a musical note translator, which is attached to his suit.  Kosh later attempted to train Sheridan, but was killed by the Shadows for recommending the Vorlons enter the war against them.  But a piece of Kosh remained in Sheridan until he was released to help destroy his replacement, Ulkesh.
